"There is an interesting thing I have noticed, something that has grown over the many many years of playing music. We are at a point of almost total critical mass with regard to the accessibility and availability of music. It's all out there on a variety of platforms ready to be consumed with  a simple touch of a screen. Yet in spite of this, people yearn for the live experience. There is something innate in all of us that draws us to be united together in the celebration of music. Some do it better than others. Marcus is one of them. we were together at the Edinburgh fringe festival and I saw an incredible musician who had this magical gift of connection. Marcus does not play to satisfy his ego or show off his immense facility, Marcus instead plays to give to connect and to share. It's his love language. I was so humbled being in the presence of an incredible musician who was dead set determined to inspire, give and help others.

Marcus's music is an extension of his heart and soul and I dare say it's impossible to not feel that when Marcus plays. And for that I am eternally grateful. The lessons, the time, the inspiration but most importantly, Marcus shows us his heart each and every time".
