A TIME BEFORE TIME - Debut album by Automatic Static

With Australia-wide closures of performing arts venues, travel restrictions, and cancellations of music festivals across the country, many musicians have utilised the opportunity to concentrate on studio work.

This is certainly true for Marcus, who has spent most of 2020-2021 not only working on his own compositions for a new album and audio engineering for others, but was also thrilled to collaborate with award winning drummer Bruce Aitken on the debut album by Automatic Static, A Time Before Time, released on 1 April 2022.

Experimental and innovative, the album also features the sultry saxophone of Michael Brown and guitar and bass by Sydney musician Levi J Burr, and the production was guided by the advice and support of Sam Troy from Studio 301 in Sydney, and is available on Bandcamp.
